If We are The Body

In the first verse of "If We are the Body" talks about a girl that isn't very popular that visits church. The other girls notice and tease her and laugh at her, not making her feel welcome. A traveler from far away
visits the church and all he gets is judgemental glances from others . So he decides he would rather not go to church there.
After each verse the chorus asks, "If we are the body, why aren't his arms reaching? Why aren't his hands healing? Why aren't his words teaching? If we are the body why aren't his feet going? Why is his love not showing them there is a way?". Often times at church we treat others like an outcast for dumb reasons. Churches should be a place where everyone is welcome. God would never turn anybody away. As his body we should welcome people to the church with open arms. We should reach out to those who aren't popular. We should go out of our way to include others. We should be there for them, teach them, and we should show them God's love.

IS YOUR CHURCH WELCOMING? ARE YOU WELCOMING TO PEOPLE EVEN IF THEY AREN'T POPULAR OR IF THEY'RE DIFFERENT?

We all deserve the Lord.
